Welcome To Alibaug

Dear Delegates,
Congratulations and greetings on the occasion of CME 2009. On behalf of organising committee I welcome you to KIHIM and ALIBAUG and wish you a pleasant stay with feast of knowledge in the couple of days ahead. For the Thane Branch of IPS it is a remarkable beginning with cent percent participation of members. I congratulate all Thaneites for the zest they have shown throughout the organising. I thank all my advisors, WZB President Dr. Mrugesh Vaishnav, WZB office bearers and particularly Dr. Ravindra Kamath and Dr. Shubhangi Parkar for all the guidance and support throughout.
Absence of very big capacity hotels in Alibaug, tourist season and weekend have made things really tough for getting a decent accommodation at short notice. We have tried to help a lot of delegates; still inconvenience due to this is regretted. I personally thank INTAS and SUN PHARMA for sharing organising responsibilities, particularly accommodation.
Local transport from designated hotels to venue and Kihim beach is arranged by the committee. I hope accompanying family members will enjoy the beautiful beaches at Alibaug. A word of caution here; don’t venture deep into the sea, it is very deceptive and results in loss of precious lives every year. Don’t venture in the deserted/remote part of beaches.
Rules of event management are changing. Be prepared to flash your authentic photo identity card and registration tag to security personnel every time you are in or around the venue.
Let us learn from the distinguished faculty and prepare ourselves for “EMPOWERING GEN-NEXT THRU HEALTHY MIND”.
